Stomach part-01...

Stomach is an important organ of our digestive system. Stomach is lined by simple columnar epithelium.

Anatomy

Its has two orifices

• Cardiac
• Pyloric

Two curvature
• Greater curvature
• Lesser curvature

Two surfaces
• Antero-superior
• postero-inferior

Subdivision of stomach
• Fundus
• Body
• Pyloric part

A horizontal line is drawn from cardiac notch to along the greater curvature Fundus and body is separated. And an another slightly vertical line is drawn from incisura angular to along the greater curvature body and pyloric part is separated . Pyloric part has some parts pylorus, pyloric antrum and pyloric canal.

Structure of stomach

The wall of the stomach is consists of four coat from outward to inward
• Serosa
• Muscular coat
• Submucosa
• Mucous membrane
